Fantastic train ride on original steam train. Take the train one way and cycle back along tracks

Great day out. We took the train from Maldon to Castlemaine and back for Fathers Day 2017. Fair walk into town from the station (easily done with a pusher), recommend following the road. Don't bother veering off for the abandoned mine tower nearby. Basically just a tall tower, that's it.
